January MOPS Meeting

Happy New Year!!  Our next MOPS meeting will be this upcoming Thurs Jan 10 from 9:30-11:30 at Riverdale Church. Childcare opens at 9:15 for drop off.  The "topic" this month is our Man Panel discussion where a group of men will answer questions that were submitted before hand.  We hope to see you all then and if you bring a friend you will get a surprise gift :)

Hello ladies!!   Our Christmas Party is fast approaching and if you haven't already done so please RSVP to Brenda B via the facebook "event" or the evite she sent out.  Our next meeting is also just around the corner on Thurs Dec 13 and details for that can also be found on facebook.  As always feel free to invite a friend to try out our MOPS meeting!

MOPS November Meeting

Hello everyone!!  Hope that you are having a great week so far!!

This is just a reminder that our next MOPS meeting is this upcoming Thurs Nov 8 from 9:30-11:30 (childcare drop off opens at 9:15). Our speaker this month will be Pastor Scott Wilcox who serves as Riverdale's Children's Pastor. Our craft is Tissue Paper Balls and we will also be collecting items for the NACE Food Pantry. Whew what a great morning it is shaping up to be!! People on treat duty include: Becky A, Andrea H, Missy B, Joanna D, Tammy S, Christy E, Becca I and Liz B. Hope to see you all Thursday and as always feel free to invite friends to check us out!!

Craft Bazaar and Bake Sale

Riverdale MOP's 3rd Annual Craft Bazaar and Bake Sale is happening this Sat Oct 27 at Riverdale Church from 9am-4pm. If you haven't signed up to help yet and are able to contact Shawna B. Otherwise feel free to come down with your family and friends and shop!! Hope to see you there!!

MOPS Luau!!

It was great seeing old friends and meeting new ones as we "plunge" together this year!  If you haven't already done so "friend" us on Facebook for up to date information on upcoming events, pictures and other fun little tidbits.  Hope to see you at our first Playdate at the year on Thurs Sept 27 from 10am-12pm at the Riverdale Gym.

First MOPS Meeting of 2012/2013

Hello everyone!!  Hope that you are all enjoying your summer so far!  As usual it seems to be going by way too fast!!

If you haven't already be sure to "like" Riverdale MOPS on Facebook.  It is a great way to keep in touch between our meetings! Also be sure to mark your calendars for our first MOPS meeting of 2012/2013. It will be on Sept 13 from 9:30 am -12 and you can drop off MOPPETS starting at 9:15 am.  Steering has already met several times this summer to plan another wonderful year of meetings and activities!

Annual Christmas Party Potluck

Join us Monday, December 5th, at 6:30 p.m. for our annual Christmas party potluck! This is the perfect time to get to know the volunteers that watch our children and thank them for all that they do. Please bring a dish to share. We will be gathering at Andrea Haglund's home in Andover. We've included her address and contact information below. If you have any questions please contact Andrea. Friday, October 27th, 7:00 p.m.
Join us at Andrea Haglund's home for some delicious fondue treats. It's sure to be a fun and relaxing evening where we can get to know each other better. Sign up at the October meeting to bring something wonderful to dip. Plus, don't forget to bring your slippers!

September Mops Meetings

Free gift for every member that brings a guest to September's meeting!

It's back to school time and that means it's back to our MOPS monthly meetings again too! Join us Thursday, September 8th from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m., and bring a friend, neighbor or that Mom you noticed at Target that could use a break. Everyone that brings a guest to September's meeting will receive a free gift. Our very own Andrea Haglund will be speaking on this year's topic, MomSense, and Missy Byers has come up with another fun and super cute craft. Hope to see you Thursday!

Crafters Wanted!

Sign-up for the Riverdale MOPS Fall Bazaar and Bake Sale! Last years event was a success and this year is bound to be even better.

Cost: $20 per 8x10 booth

Join the Riverdale MOPS book study as we learn how to bring strength and stability to physical and spiritual health through Susie Larson's "Balance That Works When Life Doesn't".

We meet June - August on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at 10:00 a.m.. Childcare is provided for a minimal charge of $1/child.
